About the C&G 2395 Periodic Inspection qualification
The C&G2395 exam forms part of what was previously known as the 2391. The qualification has been split into two routes, the initial verification and the periodic inspection route with the 2395 focussing on the latter. For the first time, this level 3 award involves a 40 question multiple choice exam alongside the written exam and practical assessment. Unlike the 2394, this qualification is certainly aimed at the more experienced inspector, focusing on the inspection of current installations and the completion of the Electrical Installation Condition Report. Unless you have considerable testing experience, it is wise to consider completing the 2394 first and gaining some experience first hand to ensure you pass this qualification.

What's happening to the C&G2391?
It is being replaced in 2012 with two new qualifications, the C&G2394 and C&G2395. Each course splits the previous 2391 down the middle, the first offers an initial verification qualification, the second a periodic inspection qualification.
This exam covers the 2394 AND 2395?
Yes, this is now a common part of the inspection and testing qualifications at Level 3. Passing the exam during one course means you don't have to repeat it for a second time making this a one time purchase for both exams.
