Inspection and Test
Following the changes to the qualification suite under the QCF banner, the different qualifications relating to inspection and test have been changed. The C&G2392 remains at Level 2 and has largely been unchanged. What has been changed is the Level 3 qualifications. Previously available under one qualification, the C&G2391, the qualification has been split into two: initial verification and periodic inspection. What has remained is the written exam in both new qualifications but to support that there is now a standard 40 question multiple choice test that has to be achieved first.

What's happening to the C&G2391?
It is being replaced in 2012 with two new qualifications, the C&G2394 and C&G2395. Each course splits the previous 2391 down the middle, the first offers an initial verification qualification, the second a periodic inspection qualification.
